NVISA represents the interests of broadcast and multichannel solutions manufacturers, who are dedicated to accelerating the development and practical implementation of next gen approaches for information services over broadcast and multichannel systems, including NextGenTV and OTT.
As an initial objective for the Alliance, the unanimous opinion of our Board is to help ensure the successful deployment of enhanced emergency information solutions across the ATSC 3.0 ecosystem, including next-generation Advanced Emergency Information applications, enhanced media display for the Emergency Alert System, and accessible emergency information audio.
I am honored to serve as the Chairman of NVISA and look forward working with all of our Alliance members, as well as other stakeholders in the nextgen TV ecosystem, to meeting this objective and driving the adoption of next generation information capabilities across the industry.
